How SMS consent is collected
This page documents the exact opt-in experience used for 10DLC review: the phone field, the optional unchecked consent checkbox, and the full consent language a subscriber reads before agreeing.
The checkbox is unchecked by default, optional, and separate from every other agreement on the form.
How consent is captured
The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default, is optional, and is separate from any other agreement. Submitting a form, accepting the Terms of Use, or becoming a customer does not by itself opt anyone into SMS. Consent is only recorded when the subscriber checks the box themselves, and the full opt-in language shown above sits directly beside it.
What messages are sent
SMS is used for transactional and operational updates only — invoices, estimates, payment notices, appointment or job updates, account notices, and related service messages. It is not used for marketing blasts or unrelated promotional campaigns.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency may vary depending on the activity on the account. Standard message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opting out and getting help
Subscribers can reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP to get assistance. Opt-out requests are honored automatically, and the opt-out status is stored against the contact so later messages are not sent.
